This sounds hilarious. The Twilight books are fun and entertaining but they are often ’sigh out loud’ ridiculous so the parody should be entertaining as well.

I am really mad about it too Suburban Exile! Maybe if enough of us complain we can get it back. And alot of us do donate to them. Well I guess I won’t be anymore!

You might like channel 12 out of Denver, [KBDI]. I really like it although I don’t know if you can view online. They have Democracy Now instead of McNeal Lehrer on 6 PM and some really wonderful and informative shows you won’t see on mainstream TV.

Funny, a similar thing happened to me one day in July when I was trying to turn on Martha Speaks for my five-year-old. I went to the familiar Channel 56 and got nothing but snow. My daughter burst into tears. Fortunately, we flipped around and found Treehouse on 43. Sorry for your loss, though!

Yes, it was a Letterman appearance. He asked a number of people to produce short films and this was theirs. I have an old copy of it on videotape. It remains a favorite.

Oh no! When did THAT happen? What a drag. Sorry folks who wander to this post hoping to see the skit once again. (I’m not even sure if or when this short originally aired on SCTV; I think the YouTube clip was from an appearance of O’Hara and Martin on Letterman.)
While I understand the SCTV alumni copyright concerns, I think there’s a valid argument that having material on YouTube is great, free publicity for performing artists, and connects a classic show like this to a whole new generation of fans who might never have heard about it.
Oh well. Maybe it’s a sign that another set of DVDs featuring later seasons is on the way. That would be good news.
